After a rewarding career in communications, I decided to pursue a new path towards helping people find relief from the challenges of conflict.
I completed over 200 hours of training in alternative dispute resolution between 2023 and 2025 and became a volunteer mediator to gain experience and give back to my community.
My goal is to bring respect and care to people in their conflict experiences, and to help them move past it with dignity, fairness and autonomy.
I’m dedicated to my family and community, and enjoy skiing and golf in my spare time. I’m a passionate learner, pursuing my Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology, expecting to graduate in 2027. I also contribute to the Calgary Stampede’s Stampede Cellar Showdown, an international wine competition.
I contribute to building a peaceful, resilient community in Calgary as a volunteer mediator with Community Mediation Society Calgary (CMCS). In 2024, I was honoured to receive a Peaceful Communities Award from CMCS and Mount Royal University for outstanding competency in mediation and negotiation.
Alpenglow Mediation is named after the rosy glow that suffuses mountain vistas at dusk and dawn on clear winter days. This breathtaking and awe-inspiring phenomenon leaves those who pause to reflect with a deep sense of inner warmth and appreciation.
Like a mediated agreement, Alpenglow isn’t artificial or imposed. Its beauty is created by naturally occurring, unique elements working in concert to create something distinctive and welcoming.
